Project Overview
As the first impression of the home, the entryway and stairwell at Kenneth Street called for more than just a fresh coat of paint it needed warmth, flow, and a sense of welcome.
We embraced a crisp, white-on-white palette using
Dulux Lexicon Quarter on the walls and Vivid White for the trim and skirting. This subtle contrast adds clarity without harshness, allowing the architectural lines to shine through with quiet sophistication.

MasterBathroom
In the master bedroom, we chose a calm and timeless palette Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat for the ceiling and Dulux Wash & Wear Low Sheen 'Natural White' for the walls. The skirting and glass doors were finished with Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Natural White,' bringing harmony to the space. Because the ceiling meets the joinery with such a minimal gap, our most skilled tradesperson handled the painting to ensure every line was sharp and precise. For a bespoke touch, we painted the bed head directly onto the wall, making it feel like a built-in feature that blends perfectly with the room’s clean, contemporary design.
Bathroom
In the bathroom, we started with perfect coverage using Dulux Kitchen and Bath Ceiling Flat for the ceiling, and Dulux Kitchen and Bath Low Sheen 'Natural White' for the walls. This careful foundation ensures a flawless, long-lasting finish even in a space exposed to humidity. The interplay of light-toned marble and the warmth of the white walls brings comfort and tranquility, transforming the bathroom into a peaceful retreat where you can truly unwind.

Bathroom .2
In the bathroom, we used Dulux Kitchen and Bath Ceiling Flat on the ceiling and Dulux Kitchen and Bath Low Sheen ‘Natural White’ on the walls. Where the paint meets the marble, we applied gap filler and used meticulous masking to ensure a seamless, refined edge. The cold elegance of the marble blends beautifully with the inviting warmth of the soft-toned paint and gentle lighting, creating a harmonious contrast that makes this bathroom feel both luxurious and welcoming.
Living Room
In this living room, the ceiling is finished with Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat, while the walls are painted with Dulux Wash & Wear Low Sheen 'Natural White'. The glass doors feature Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Natural White'. Because there is no skirting, extra attention was given to the junction where the walls meet the concrete floor, ensuring a clean, straight line. The gentle warmth of soft white tones infuses the space with calm and comfort, creating an open, airy atmosphere that feels both peaceful and welcoming—perfect for enjoying the view and letting the outside in.

Kitchen
The ceiling in this kitchen is finished in Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat, while the walls are painted in Dulux Wash & Wear Low Sheen ‘Natural White’. For a seamless, refined look, both the skirting and glass doors are coated in Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss ‘Natural White’. Special attention was given to the timber ceiling, ensuring a flawless finish with minimal brush or roller marks, so that the natural wood grain and warmth remain beautifully visible.
Kitchen .2
This kitchen showcases striking black cabinetry set against crisp white walls a timeless combination that proves simplicity never goes out of style. The overall effect is a space that feels both sophisticated and enduring. With subtle contrasts and carefully selected finishes, the kitchen becomes not just functional, but a true reflection of elegant modern design.

Entry and Stairwell
The ceiling is finished with Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat, and the walls are painted in Dulux Wash & Wear Low Sheen 'Natural White'. Skirting is completed in Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Natural White', while the curved metal staircase received a base coat of Dulux etch prime followed by Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Natural White'. Due to the uneven surface of the metal, a significant amount of time was spent to achieve a smooth and consistent finish. The synergy between exposed concrete and painted elements creates a refined aesthetic, with the white-toned paint and matching floor seamlessly complementing each other. The consistent use of colour both inside and out blurs the boundary between the two, making the view through the full-height window feel like a natural extension of the interior.

Entry and Stairwell. 2
The ceiling is finished in Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat, with walls painted in Dulux Wash & Wear Low Sheen 'Natural White'. Skirting and glass doors are coated in Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Natural White', while the curved metal staircase features a custom Dulux etch prime and Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Natural White'. I still recall the effort it took to paint the timber ceiling in that tall, confined space—a demanding task that truly tested both patience and precision. Special care was given to the centre wall joint to prevent any build-up of colour, which could result in a visibly stronger tone. Instead of using V-joint panels, we carefully selected individual timber pieces to minimise visible joints a meticulous and challenging project that really showcased our craftsmanship.

Balcony
This balcony features a harmonious palette of whites—Dulux Weathermax HBR 2-pack paint in ‘Natural White’ on the fence, Dulux Weathershield Low Sheen ‘Natural White’ on the soffit, and Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss Enamel ‘Natural White’ on the window frames. The ceiling is finished in Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat, and both the walls and skirting continue the ‘Natural White’ theme for a cohesive look. Because of the intense sunlight near the ocean, some paint damage appears earlier than expected, especially around the joints of the metal fence where rust can develop annually without regular maintenance. Despite these challenges, the subtle warmth of the white palette combines beautifully with the surrounding greenery, creating a calm and inviting outdoor retreat.
Front yard
In the front yard, a soft and harmonious white palette sets a welcoming tone—Dulux Weathershield Low Sheen ‘Natural White’ was applied to the soffit, Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss Enamel ‘Natural White’ to the window frames, and Berger Premium Semi Gloss Enamel ‘Natural White’ to the gate. To achieve a flawless result, we carefully masked the concrete floor and brick walls before painting, ensuring every edge remained crisp and clean.

Gate
The custom-designed gate was carefully spray-painted with Berger Premium Semi Gloss Enamel in the workshop, ensuring a flawless, even finish before being brought on site and installed. The subtle contrast between the smooth, painted gate and the raw concrete frame creates a harmonious blend with the surrounding landscape. As sunlight streams through, the interplay of light and shadow brings the whole entryway to life, making the space feel almost dreamlike.
Exterior
The exterior features a fence coated with Dulux Weathermax HBR 2-pack paint in ‘Alabaster’, soffits finished in Dulux Weathershield Low Sheen ‘Natural White’, and window frames painted with Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss Enamel ‘Natural White’. Handrails were pre-finished by our painter at the workshop using a professional spray system, achieving a flawless, even finish—something that’s almost impossible to replicate on-site, especially with intricate profiles and hard-to-reach angles. Factory spraying also allowed for better drying conditions and dust-free results, an important factor in achieving a premium outcome.

Exterior. 2
Timber gate and screen are finished in Berger Premium Semi Gloss Enamel 'Natural White', while windows and doors are coated in Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Natural White'. Since the rendered wall was finished with acrylic render, we took great care to ensure the paint did not come into contact with it during the process. The house strikes a balance between the openness of the first floor and the enclosed, private atmosphere of the ground floor.
