RearFacade
An 18mm roller was used to ensure even coverage on textured and rough surfaces. Given the home's coastal location and exposure to salt and movement, we applied Dulux Acratex Elastomeric 968 to minimize cracking and enhance durability. This project exemplifies the seamless integration of high-quality painted surfaces with factory-made finishes, creating a clean, modern aesthetic. The minimalist design balances craftsmanship and precision, perfectly suited for contemporary homes.
Exterior
Eaves are finished with Porter’s Low Sheen Acrylic ‘Wood Smoke’, walls in Porter’s Paint Stone Paint Fine ‘Triple Grey Pepper’, and trims in Porter’s Aqua Satin Enamel ‘Lambswool’.
Special care was taken to ensure that paint never touched the natural stone or metal screens, using detailed masking and controlled application. The careful meeting of painted surfaces, warm stone, and copper downpipes creates a sophisticated harmony of textures and tones—bringing understated elegance and depth to the home’s exterior.

Painting the French windows demanded real expertise — even a slight excess of paint can make them stick, so every application was done with precise control to keep them operating smoothly. Using several complementary tones, each area is visually distinguished while still allowing for a seamless and natural transition throughout the home’s exterior.
Front
Eaves are finished in Porter’s Low Sheen Acrylic ‘Wood Smoke’, walls in Porter’s Paint Stone Paint Fine ‘Triple Grey Pepper’, and trim in Porter’s Aqua Satin Enamel ‘Lambswool’. The garage doors are painted with Porter’s Aqua Satin Enamel ‘Grey Pepper 1/4’.Because of the bold contrast between the deep wall colour and the white trim, precise cutting-in and careful masking were essential — even the slightest deviation would show. To reflect the high standard of this luxury residence, all painting was completed by a highly skilled tradesperson with experience in premium finishes, ensuring every detail met exacting expectations.
Awning
The awning is finished in (dulux epoxy enamel-gloss black), while the steel-framed French doors are painted in (Dulux aquaenamel gloss black). Because epoxy enamel is thick, we always use a dedicated epoxy roller to avoid leaving behind fibers and to achieve a perfectly smooth finish. Every glass panel is carefully masked, resulting in crisp, sharp edges and a clean, professional look. In preparation for the arrival of newborns, we selected eco-friendly paint to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the family.

The exterior features a fence coated with Dulux Weathermax HBR 2-pack paint in ‘Alabaster’, soffits finished in Dulux Weathershield Low Sheen ‘Natural White’, and window frames painted with Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss Enamel ‘Natural White’. Handrails were pre-finished by our painter at the workshop using a professional spray system, achieving a flawless, even finish—something that’s almost impossible to replicate on-site, especially with intricate profiles and hard-to-reach angles. Factory spraying also allowed for better drying conditions and dust-free results, an important factor in achieving a premium outcome.

Timber gate and screen are finished in Berger Premium Semi Gloss Enamel 'Natural White', while windows and doors are coated in Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Natural White'. Since the rendered wall was finished with acrylic render, we took great care to ensure the paint did not come into contact with it during the process. The house strikes a balance between the openness of the first floor and the enclosed, private atmosphere of the ground floor.
