Epoxy Floor Coating

Inspection: Check for oil, grease, laitance, cracks, old coatings, and moisture.

Surface profiling: Use mechanical grinding, shot blasting, or acid etching to open concrete pores and ensure adhesion.

Patching: Repair cracks and voids with suitable epoxy filler.

Dry condition: Ensure the substrate is completely dry before coating.

Product: (e.g., Luxafloor® Primer)

Purpose: Enhances adhesion to concrete, seals porosity, and prevents pinholes.

Application: Apply evenly using a roller or brush.

Dry Time: 4–6 hours before applying base coat.

Industrial Area (Left Image)

Features: High solids, durable, chemical and abrasion resistant, optional anti-slip finish.

Lobby or Hotel Area (Center Image)

Product: (e.g., Luxafloor® FCF Clear, Luxafloor® PTX Gloss)

Features: Sleek finish, easy maintenance, excellent wear resistance.

Public/Educational Area (Right Image)

Product: (e.g., Luxafloor® ECO2)

Features: Low-VOC, water-based, suitable for high-traffic spaces.

Application: Apply 1–2 coats by roller or notched trowel.

Dry Time: Minimum 4–6 hours between coats.

Product: (e.g., Luxafloor® PTX)

Purpose: Adds UV resistance, color retention, and long-term durability.

Finish Options: Gloss, satin, or matte; optional anti-slip aggregate (e.g., Luxafloor® Aggregates).

Application: Roller or spray for even coverage.

Curing: Light foot traffic in 24 hours; full cure in 5–7 days.

Always moisture test the substrate (max 5%).

Choose light or dark colors to define function zones.

Use masking tape to protect walls, skirtings, and expansion joints.

Avoid high humidity conditions without proper airflow.
