Project Overview
This home was designed with purpose: the top floor opens to breathtaking ocean views, while the lower level prioritizes privacy from nearby foot traffic.
The client’s vision for a crisp, all-white finish demanded meticulous preparation and precise brushwork, resulting in a flawless, high-quality finish.

MasterBedroom
For this bedroom, the ceiling was finished with Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat, while the walls were painted in Dulux Wash & Wear Low Sheen Wattle Colour Lexicon 1/4. Skirting, windows, and the daybed were all coated with Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Vivid White'. Extra care was taken with the French windows to ensure the sashes moved smoothly and didn’t stick after drying. All switch covers were removed before painting and reinstalled with precision after completion.
MasterBedroom .2
To achieve a flawless paint job, we carefully remove all window locks and hinges before painting, preventing any overspray or uneven edges. The complex profiles of the ceiling cornices were sprayed rather than brushed, ensuring even coverage and crisp detail with minimal brush marks. Even when ceiling and walls share the same white tone, subtle differences in gloss require skilled brushwork for a perfect finish. All blinds were removed before painting and only reinstalled after the paint had fully dried.

Daybed window seat
For the daybed window seat, the ceiling was finished in Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat, and the walls with Dulux Wash & Wear Low Sheen Wattle Colour Lexicon 1/4. Skirting, windows, and the daybed itself were painted with Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Vivid White'. Each timber section was meticulously brushed to highlight the natural grain, with intentional brush strokes that showcase the wood’s character. The black-finished hinges and locks provide a refined contrast against the crisp white, adding an elegant, sophisticated touch.

Baby Room
The ceiling was finished with (Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat), while the walls were painted in (Dulux Wash and Wear Low Sheen – Wattle Colour Lexicon 1/4) to create a gentle and welcoming space. All skirting and windows were completed with (Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Vivid White'), ensuring a crisp, clean look throughout. We dedicated extra time to masking all the glass, ensuring a sharp, professional finish with no stray paint marks. Since this room was created for little ones, every step of the process was approached with care: we used low-VOC, baby-safe paint and took care to make every surface smooth, clean, and free from strong odors creating a safe, calming space for children to grow and play.
Dining Room
In this cozy living space, we chose a soft, white-based palette using Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat for the ceiling and Dulux Wash and Wear Low Sheen (Wattle Colour Lexicon 1/4) for the walls. The skirting and timber windows were finished in Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss ‘Vivid White,’ bringing a crisp, clean look to the room. Because timber windows demand precision and care, our skilled professional painter made sure every detail was flawless. Even though the space is compact, the light colors help create an open, airy feeling, making it feel welcoming and much larger than it is.

Living Room
The narrow steel framing between the glass panels demands expert technique, as even with masking tape, precise application is necessary to avoid paint bleed and ensure sharp edges. When painting glass doors, applying thick layers can cause the doors to stick or jam when opening and closing. That’s why we always apply thin, even coats at overlap areas to keep everything moving smoothly. To ensure a clean finish and avoid paint on sliding surfaces, we take out the drawers before painting and put them back only after the paint is completely dry.

Living Room. 2
Book shelving (Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Vivid White') Given the frequent use and contact with books, we reinforced the bookshelves with an additional coat for enhanced durability and a clean, resilient surface.
Because the wall receives direct lighting, any surface irregularity or paint defect would be accentuated. This required meticulous preparation and precision during application to achieve a seamless result. We used water-based gap filler (acrylic sealant) where the walls meet the furniture to ensure a seamless, clean finish with no visible gaps.

Kitchen
With sunlight streaming in through large windows, the kitchen features striking contrast between deep black cabinetry and a warm wood island, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. The expansive view of the garden outside connects the indoors and outdoors seamlessly a true highlight of this space.

Kitchen.2
A sense of warmth and sophistication is achieved through the striking contrast between the (Vivid White) skirting and the deep black joinery. Thanks to precise masking along all window frames and sashes, every line remains sharp and seamless. The harmonious blend of (Lexicon 1/4) on the walls and the clean (Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat) above reflects natural light beautifully, making the space feel open and inviting.
Kitchen.3
Natural timber and soft lighting pair perfectly with the (Lexicon 1/4) wall colour, bringing a cozy yet modern vibe to the kitchen. The skirting finished in (Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss ‘Vivid White’) frames the room with subtle elegance. Black details throughout add depth and contrast, while meticulous masking and protection of all new surfaces guarantee a pristine, professional finish.

Kitchen.4
The ceiling was finished with (dulux professional ceiling flat), while the walls received (dulux wash and wear low sheen (wattle colour lexicon 1/4)), creating a soft and welcoming feel. Skirting boards and windows were coated in (dulux aquaenamel semi gloss 'vivid white'), providing a crisp contrast to the deep, rich tone of the steel-framed French doors in (Dulux aquaenamel gloss black). Special care was taken to protect the black-painted kitchen cupboards during painting, preventing any overspray or accidental marks. One thoughtful feature of this home is the two access doors leading out to the backyard—a detail that enhances flexibility, convenience, and the natural flow between indoor and outdoor living.

Fireplace wall
With the ceiling finished in (dulux professional ceiling flat) and the walls in (dulux wash and wear low sheen (wattle colour lexicon 1/4), this space achieves a sense of calm and gentle warmth. We took extra care to mask the skirting boards—painted in (dulux aquaenamel semi gloss 'vivid white') to protect the timber flooring and create crisp, flawless lines. For the final coats, a microfibre mini roller was used, ensuring the surface remained smooth and refined.
To complete the look, the fireplace surround was finished in the same tone as the skirting boards, blending seamlessly into the room’s palette. This subtle touch quietly enhances the unity and comfort of the space, allowing the art and architecture to stand out without distraction.

Awning
The awning is finished in (dulux epoxy enamel-gloss black), while the steel-framed French doors are painted in (Dulux aquaenamel gloss black). Because epoxy enamel is thick, we always use a dedicated epoxy roller to avoid leaving behind fibers and to achieve a perfectly smooth finish. Every glass panel is carefully masked, resulting in crisp, sharp edges and a clean, professional look. In preparation for the arrival of newborns, we selected eco-friendly paint to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the family.
Awning. 2
For the awning, special care was taken due to consistent water retention in this area during rainfall. We meticulously applied the coating and ensured a perfect seal, providing long-term protection in this moisture-prone zone. After all painting work, we thoroughly clean every glass surface, removing dust, smudges, and any paint residue for a crisp and polished finish.

Garage
The garage timber wall was finished with Intergrain Exterior Ultra Clear. When applying clear finishes to timber, it's essential to work continuously—pausing midway can result in visible overlaps or sheen variations, leaving the surface looking uneven. To ensure the best durability and UV protection, we recommend reapplying exterior timber coatings every 12 to 24 months. This proactive maintenance prevents surface film breakdown and helps maintain the wall’s structural integrity and beautiful appearance for years to come.

Windows, Eaves
The eaves were painted with Dulux Weathershield Low Sheen 'Vivid White' and the windows finished in Dulux Aquaenamel Semi Gloss 'Vivid White'. Safety is always our top priority when working outdoors, so we took every precaution to create a secure environment for both our team and the clients throughout the project. For a touch of playfulness and design flair, we painted the front of the house in crisp white and the back in bold black—creating a subtle surprise: a clean, classic façade when you arrive, and a modern, moody vibe as you step into the backyard.
